Brush Faceplates solve many problems brought about by the use of HDMI connections and the fact that many flat screen TVs are now being mounted on walls, which limits the amount of space available for plugs and connectors.
AV wall brush plates present a tidy solution whereby cables can be routed through walls, emerge through a brush plate and then terminate at the TV.
By eliminating unnecessary connections, especially in high speed HDMI cables, a potentially unreliable connection is avoided. At the same time, this makes for a faster installation and is much cheaper than purchasing additional connectors and cables.
The brush plate apertures for both single gang brush outlet plates and double gang brush outlet plates are large enough to allow many cables to pass through along with Scart plugs and HDMI plugs. The apertures are 50mm x 50mm for the single gang sizes and 100 x 50mm for the double gang sizes.
Brush plates can also be used to disguise points where pipe-work passes through walls making them ideal for plumbers and HVAC engineers where installation of a wall brush plate is a quicker solution than making good. In these instances, no back box is necessary and screws can simply be used to attach the brush faceplate directly to the wall.
Brush plates come in a wide variety of sizes and styles. They all fit standard electrical back boxes.

If there is a need for a specific brush plate finish that is not available in our standard range, brush adapter plates may solve the problem. These are brushes mounted on metal plates are they are designed to fit between a standard Euromod faceplate and the electrical mounting box as shown in the exploded images.
(Please note that these brush adapter plates are not suitable for use with flat faceplates; flat faceplates have brackets which protrude behind the plate, creating a gap and preventing the faceplate from sitting flush on to the adapter plate.)
These adapter plates are available in single gang and double gang sizes and are available with white brushes or black brushes. Click on the images at the bottom of this page for more details on the range or to buy.
